Punjab National Bank wins Beighton Cup of Hockey

Punjab National Bank (PNB) beat Indian Oil Corporation 5-3 in penalties to win the Beighton Cup hockey tournament at the Sports Authority of India ground.

In the penalty shoot-out, Arjun Antil scored twice, Hardeep Singh and Naveen Antil also netted once each while Shivdeep Singh missed his chance for PNB.For Indian Oil, Gagandeep Singh and Vikram Kanth scored one penalty each. Roshan Minz and Imran Khan missed their opportunities. PNB goalkeeper Jasbir Singh was awarded with the Best Player award, whereas, the Fairplay Trophy was given to Army XI.
