ISRO plans mission to Venus The famous Quote says Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus. As we already reached Mars, Our next mission is Venus. After the hugely successful Mars Orbiter Mission, which completed 300 days in the Martian orbit on July 21st, India is now planning a mission to Venus and even an asteroid for exploration. Kiran Kumar, the Chairman said, ISRO is planning to revisit the red planet with Mangalyaan-2 mission scheduled in 2018. Scientists have already started working on the Rs 500 crore Mars-2 mission in Bangalore and it will be launched using the GSLV Mk-II.  ISRO’s visit to an asteroid will be in partnership with American space agency NASA.
