Ujjain Unveils India’s First Hygienic Food Street ‘Prasadam’

In a magnificent ceremony held at Neelkanth Van, Mahakal Lok, Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, Union Health Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya launched ‘Prasadam,’ the first nutritious and hygienic food street in the nation.

Distinguished guests included Dr. Mohan Yadav, chief minister of Madhya Pradesh, Rajendra Shukla, deputy chief minister, Narendra Shivaji Patel, minister of state for public health and family welfare, and Anil Firojiya, member of the Lok Sabha.

Advocating for Healthful, Non-GMO Food for Faithful

Union Health Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya spoke to the audience and conveyed his excitement about the project.

A path leading to uncontaminated food for believers, he said. Dr. Mandaviya stressed that the goal of the ‘PRASADAM’ program is to provide regular people all around the country with access to healthy, traditional, and locally sourced cuisine.

Efforts like these, he says, will bring locals and visitors together to make healthy eating a priority.

More Than Just a Food Court: Prasadam

Spread out over an enormous 939 square meters, “Prasadam” represents all-encompassing growth. Its multipurpose architecture, including its proximity to the Mahakaleshwar Temple, makes it more than simply a food street; it enhances many facets of community life.
