Russia launches large-scale air defence drills involving 250 aircraft

 

Russia has started its air defence drill in the Ural mountains and western Siberia. The exercise involves 12,000 soldiers and 250 aircraft. The four days of exercise is meant to help the military prepare for a larger drill in September. After the annexation of Ukraine’s Crimea region, Russia has held many number of large-scale military drills checking combat readiness.
