1. The book, ‘India — the Road to Renaissance: A Vision and an Agenda’ by Bhimeswara Chall

3. Nigeria Becomes First Country to Roll Out New Meningitis Vaccine

5. Saurabh Garg Appointed as Secretary of the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation

As a big step forward, the Central Government has given IAS officer Saurabh Garg the extra job of Secretary of the Ministry of Statistics and Program Implementation (MoSPI).

Garg, an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer from the Odisha branch who was born in 1991, will hold this position until a permanent replacement is found or more instructions are given.
