The UN Security Council has unanimously adopted a resolution that endorses the landmark nuclear deal between Iran and six world powers. The historical deal paves the way for lifting the crippling sanctions imposed by the world body against Tehran. Representatives of all 15 countries on the Security Council voted by raising their hands. The agreement launches a progressive and conditional lifting of sanctions, in exchange for guarantees that the Islamic republic will not develop a nuclear bomb.
