1/20 *10 + (1/30+1/20)x =1

X =6

Therefore total work completed in 10+6 = 16 days

Now 1/20+Q =1/16 Q=1/80

Therefore ratio of P:Q = 20:80=1:4

Since P can complete the work faster than Q Therefore efficiency ratio of both P:Q=4:1

Therefore 480*4/5 = 384 .

2.A, B and C can do a piece of work in 24, 36 and 48 days respectively. They started the work together but A left after five days. B left 10 days before the completion of the work. In how many days was the work completed?
