Adani Group Announces Rs 50,000 Crore Investment for 1 GW Data Centre in Maharashtra

At the World Economic Forum 2024, the Adani Group made a big announcement: they want to build a 1 GW hyperscale data center in Maharashtra with Rs. 50,000 crore over the next ten years.

The pledge was made official when the Maharashtra government and Adani Enterprises Ltd, the conglomerate’s flagship company, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU).

Chief Minister Eknath Shinde of Maharashtra and Gautam Adani, chairman of the Adani Group, were both there.
