Petroleum and Natural Gas Ministry launches an online initiative

The Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas (MoPNG) has launched an Online Initiative to engage the LPG Consumers and Citizens of India in providing efficient and citizen friendly services in LPG distribution. Following two online discussion forums have been launched and are available on myGov.in and mylpg.in for Citizen-Friendly Services and Increasing LPG Coverage in the Country

LPG Consumers/ Citizens are requested to participate and share their thoughts on the respective forums online. Valuable suggestions/ comments are welcome and will be considered for improving the customer oriented services related to LPG Coverage & Delivery. There are already similar services in the west that can offer propane refills and delivery through online registration. For example, companies like Kelly Propane (kellypropane.com) and others in the propane-supply industry enable people to get their tanks filled and delivered without much hassle. As for India, it could be seen as a sign of development, and all that can be expected is that people will benefit from this online initiative.

This initiative is one of the many initiatives for observing 2016 as the “Year of LPG Consumers”, announced by the Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas recently.
