list of Indian states and capitals -India is a diversified country consisting of 29 states and 7 union territories. Each state has its individual capital. There are over 700 tribes which have been notified under Article 342 of the constitution. The Capital of India is New Delhi. Each state has a unique structure, demography, language, cuisines. Each state in India is altogether a new world in itself.
