Javed Akhtar to Receive Padmapani Lifetime Achievement Award at Ajanta-Ellora Film Festival

At the next Ajanta-Ellora Film Festival, the Padmapani Lifetime Achievement Award will be given to the experienced lyricist and screenwriter Javed Akhtar.

This award recognizes his important contributions to the Indian film business, which include movies like “Zanjeer,” “Deewar,” “Sholay,” “Don,” “Kala Patthar,” and “Mr. India.” The event for the awards will happen on January 3, 2024, which is the first day of the ninth festival.

The award ceremony will take place at the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar building of MGM University in the Rukmini Auditorium.

The Chairman of the Ajantha-Ellora Film Festival Organizing Committee, Nandkishore Kagliwal, and Chief Guide, Ankushrao Kadam, will give Javed Akhtar the Padmapani Award, which comes with a token, a medal, and Rs 2 lakh in cash.
