Draupadi Murmu sworn in as first woman Governor of Jharkhand

Draupadi Murmu has sworn in as the first woman Governor of Jharkhand. She replaces Mr Syed Ahmed, who is going to take charge as Manipur Governor. Jharkhand High Court Chief Justice Virendra Singh administered the oath of office to Ms. Murmu. Jharkhand CM Raghubar Das, MoS for Rural Development Sudarshan Bhagat, Former CM Shibu Soren were present at the ceremony.
