State

No of Males

UP 3/5 * 15/100 * 3276000 = 294840
MP 3/4 * 20/100 * 3276000 = 491400
Goa 3/8 * 12/100 * 3276000 = 147420

Toatl No. of males in these state = 294840+491400+147420 = 933660

Hence req % = [933660/3276000] *100 = 28.5%

Series:-

This is also an another scoring part of any bank exam. There are three types of problems that could be asked in the exam like, to find the missing number in the series, to find the wrong number in the series and having two series. And we will provide you quizzes based on different types everyday.

Find out the wrong number in the series:

1) 16, 19, 21, 30, 46, 71, 107

(1) 19       (2) 21      (3) 30      (4) 46      (5) 71

Click here
Ans: (1) Pattern: 107-71=36=6², 71-46=25=5², 46-30=16=4², 30-21=9=3², 21-19=2≠2². So 19 should be replaced by 17 for which 21-17=2²

2) 380, 188, 92, 48, 20, 8, 2

(1) 8        (2) 20       (3) 48     (4) 188     (5) None of these

Click here
Ans: (3) Pattern: 380-188=192, 188-92=96, 92-48=44, 48-20=28, (here it should be 44 instead of 48 because”96/2″ is “48” so “92-44=48”) so now 44-20=24, 20-8=12, 8-2=6

3) 3, 2, 3, 6, 12, 37.5, 115.5

(1) 37.5   (2) 3    (3) 6     (4) 2     (5) 12

Click here
Ans: (5) Pattern: 3*0.5+0.5=2, 2*1+1=3, 3*1.5+1.5=6, 6*2+2=14 but here it is 12 So 12 is wrong

4) 24576, 6144, 1536, 386, 96, 24

(1) 96    (2) 386    (3) 1536     (4) 6144     (5) None of these

Click here
Ans: (2) Pattern: 24576/4=6144, 6144/4=1536, 1536/4=384 but here it is 386 so 384 is wrong

5) 4.5, 16, 25, 33, 38.5, 42, 43.5

(1) 33      (2) 38.5     (3) 42    (4) 43.5     (5) 25

Click here
Ans: (5) Pattern: 4.5+11.5=16, 16+9.5=25.5 (and not 25 so it is wrong), 25.5+7.5=33, 33+5.5=38.5, 38.5+3.5=42, 42+1.5=43.5
Mixed Questions:-

Here we will provide you problems based on rest of the topics like probability, Time and work, Time and Distance, SI & CI, Data Sufficiency and etc.

1) Rita invested 25% more than Sunil. Sunil invested 30% less than Abhinav who invested Rs. 6000. What is the respective ratio between the amount that Rita invested and the total amount invested by all of them together?

(1) 35:104      (2) 13:29     (3) 101:36      (4) 35:103     (5)None of these

Click here
Ans: (4)

Investment of Abhinav= Rs. 6000

Investment of Sunil = 6000* [(100-30)/100] = Rs. 4200

Investment of Rita = 4200 * [(100+25)/100] = Rs. 5250

Investment by all =6000+5250  = Rs. 15450

Ratio= 5240 : 15450 = 35:103

2) A man gets a Simple Interest of Rs. 1000 on a certain principal at the rate of 5% per annum in 4 years. What Compound Interest will the man get on twice the principal in two years at the same rate?

(1) 1050       (2) 1005      (3) 11025      (4) 10125       (5) None of these

Click here
Ans: (5)

Principe= [(1000*100)/(5*4)] = Rs. 5000

CI= 10000[(1+5/100)²-1]

=10000*41/100 = Rs. 1025

3) The perimeter of a square is equal to twice the perimeter of a rectangle of length 8 cm and breadth 7 cm. What is the circumference of a semicircle whose diameter is equal to the side of the square?

(1) 38.57 cm      (2) 23.57 cm       (3) 42.46 cm         (4) 47.47 cm        (5) None of these

Click here
Ans: (1)

Perimeter of square = 2* 2(8+7) = 60 cm

4a = 60cm

a=15 cm

Diameter = 15 cm ∴ radius = 7.5 cm

Circumference of semicircle = πr + 2r = 22/7 * 7.5 + 2* 7.5 = 38.57 cm

4) Radha’s present age is three years less than twice her age 12 years ago. Also the respective ratio between Raj’s present age and Radha’s present age is 4:9. What will be Raj’s age after 5 years?

(1) 12 yrs        (2) 7 yrs     (3) 21 yrs       (4) Cannot be determined      (5) None of these

Click here
Ans: (5) Present of Radha = x yrs

x+3 = 2(x-12)

x+3 = 2x-24

x=27

present ratio of Raj:Radha = 4:9

present age of Raj= 27/9 * 4 = 12

After 5 yrs Raj’s age = 12+5= 17 yrs

5) The respective ratio between the speeds of a car, a train, and a bus is 5:9:4 . The average speed of the car, the bus and the train is 72 Km/hr together. What is the average speed of the car and the train together?

(1) 82 km/hr     (2) 78 km/hr      (3) 84 km/hr       (4) Cannot be determined       (5) None of these

Click here
Ans: (3) Total speed of car, bus and train = 72*3 = 216 km

Speed of car and train = [(5+9)/(5+9+4)]*216 = 168 km

Average = 168/2 = 84 km
