Navneet Rajan Wasan as the DG of Bureau of Police Research & Development

GOI has appointed Navneet Rajan Wasan as the Director General of the Bureau of Police Research & Development. Navneet Rajan currently working as the Special Director General in the National Investigation Agency (NIA). Wasan, a 1980-batch IPS officer of the Andhra Pradesh cadre, is going to fill the post, that had been lying vacant since March 2015 after the retirement of Rajan Gupta.

Indian Postal Service (IPoS) officer Sheuli Burman (1990 batch) has been appointed as the Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) in the Indian Telephone Industries (ITI), Bengaluru.
