18-yr-old Ishan Kishan hits record 14 sixes in Ranji innings

About Ishan Kishan

Hails from Patna and plays domestic cricket for Jharkhand since Bihar do not currently have a cricket association. Made his Ranji Trophy debut for Jharkhand at the age of 16 years and 4 months.
A wicket-keeper batsman, Ishan has been named captain of the India Under-19 team at the U19 World Cup.

he Will be the second-youngest (after a 16-year old Parthiv Patel in 2002) to captain India at the Under-19 World Cup.
Led India to victory in the Tri-Nation Under-19s Tournament in Sri Lanka in December 2015.

Ishan’s role models are said to be India’s limited overs captain MS Dhoni and former Australia stumper Adam Gilchrist.
