PV Sindhu became the second Indian player to reach the final of the China Open after Saina Nehwal achieved the feat in 2014. Sindhu is eyeing her first superseries final win but China’s Sun Yu will try to keep her away from the win. Sun Yu will be the favourite to win the crown at home but the Indian has been supreme form in the tournament. In the semi-final, she overcame Sung Ji Hyun of South Korea 11-21, 23-21, 21-19.
